Traveler - Vivian Wong

I have planned to do a luggage for my Assignment 3, 3D cube. I have chosen to do my 3D cube into luggage is because i love to travel a lot.

Materials
Materials that i have used is :-
- Craft board
- Cyanoacrylate Adhesive = Glue
- Stickers
- Cloths
- Thread
- Wire

Front view
The front view of my cube is made out of images that represent myself. The images are popping out. I've got the idea of getting the images are from my mind map.

Inside of the cube
Inside my cube i would like to put cloths into it. It is just like my mini wardrobe.

Top view
Top view of the cube i want to show is the handle of the luggage and the lock of the luggage. Basically i wanted to find a lock from shops but due to the Hari Raya period all shops are closed. So i have chosen to used the craft board that i left to make the lock and handle.

Back view
Back view of my cube is just a simple images that is representing the next destination that i wanted to visit that is Paris. The other reason why the back view of my cube are simple is because the front side of the cube are enough much images. Other than that, i have made a luggage tag for my cube.

Estelle's 3D cube - Pink Zebra Camera

We were briefed assigned to do the 3D cube assignment since few weeks ago. This 3D cube assignment is all about expressing ourselves, our character, and our interest through the 3D cube. My primary idea of it was to do a butterfly shaped photo album but then i figured that it was too cheesy and so i changed my plan and i finally decided to do a Camera using the most traditional papercraft way. I have been doing some research on papercraft arts lately and i find it interesting so i decided to use this method to construct my 3D cube.

I looked up online for some samples and i found a couple of nice paper crafted cameras and so i decided to follow the cameras as reference and create one myself from scratch. I figured out the whole net myself by just studying the shape of the paper crafted camera references. after figuring it out, i illustrated the whole net out. before I proceeded with printing.

The final artwork was quite satisfying because it really does portray myself. The colors are very vibrant and it is mostly in pink, which is my favorite color.
